What Appliance Master Covers
From workflow automation to system integration, we deliver outcomes that move your business forward.
Appliance Master™ supports mechanical breakdown and functional failure of covered appliances.
Appliance Master™ supports mechanical breakdown and functional failure of covered appliances. This means the appliance is no longer working properly and requires diagnosis and repair, subject to the benefit rules and exclusions.
The range of cover
Cover applies only to appliances that meet the active product schedule criteria, including domestic use in a private residence, ownership and residency rules, any applicable age limits, and validation requirements such as serial number capture and supporting information.
Covered categories are defined by the active product schedule, but the benefit is designed around major household appliances and selected home electronics typically found in a home, such as:
- Fridges and freezers
- Washing machines and tumble dryers
- Stoves, ovens and microwaves
- TVs and selected home entertainment devices
- Other core household appliances included in the active product schedule
Support includes the organised process to assess and repair the appliance using approved technicians and suitable parts, subject to parts availability and the approved repair scope.
Repairs are authorised to restore function only, not to upgrade, improve performance, or
provide preventative servicing.
Service area & timing
Appliance Master is available within the supported service area.
Booking times and repair completion depend on regional technician coverage, appointment availability, and spare part supply. Where parts are required, delays can occur while parts are sourced.
Delays due to parts availability, access constraints, or supplier lead times do not create additional benefits.
Usage limits & claims value
The following limits apply to the Appliance Master service:
- Call outs: Maximum of 2 call outs per household in any 12 month period, unless the product schedule states otherwise.
- Per incident limit: On the highest tier of Appliance Maste, the maximum claim value is up to R6,000 per incident, subject to the product rules, approval process, usage limits, and plan limits. Where a repair cost exceeds the approved benefit limit, the member remains responsible for the difference.
- Incidents per appliance: Maximum 1 approved incident per covered appliance in any 12 month period.
- One active request: Only one active request is permitted per household at a time unless otherwise approved.
- No reimbursements: No cash alternatives, reimbursements, or refunds apply unless approved in writing in advance.
